Warehouse Storekeeper

About the role

The Warehouse Storekeeper will manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of medical and non‑medical supplies for a hospital. Working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and Supply Chain Manager, the role ensures that all inventory is accurately recorded and readily available for clinical departments.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, store, and issue supplies in line with hospital procedures.
• Maintain up‑to‑date inventory records and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or excess.
• Conduct regular stock counts, inventory reconciliation and rotate stock to avoid expirations.
• Ensure proper and safe storage of items according to quality and safety standards.
• Prepare and dispatch materials to hospital departments in a timely manner.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in warehousing, inventory management or storekeeping.
• Preferably experience in a healthcare or hospital environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse procedures.

Required skills

• Knowledge of inventory management systems.
• Understanding of warehouse safety and quality requirements.
