Wedding Sales Executive

About the role

The Wedding Sales Executive will drive revenue by promoting wedding and event services at our hotel, ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty. This full‑time position combines sales, guest relations, and administrative duties within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Contact guests, departments and partners to resolve inquiries, requests and problems.
• Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue, including up‑selling and offering complimentary gifts such as rewards points or vouchers.
• Promote the Marriott brand internally and externally, and process Marriott Rewards redemptions.
• Handle reservation requests, changes and cancellations via phone, fax or mail, and enter data into the reservation system.
• Answer and record guest calls, requests and concerns, maintaining professional telephone etiquette.
• Perform general office duties for the Sales & Marketing team (filing, emailing, typing, faxing).
• Assist management in training and motivating staff, serving as a role model.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs and ensure a clean, professional appearance.
• Maintain positive working relationships, support team goals and monitor performance standards.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least two years of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
