Weighbridge Operator – Reliable & Detail‑Oriented

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Weighbridge Operator to manage the weighing of trucks entering and leaving our facility. You will ensure accurate recording of weights, material types and related documentation while supporting smooth vehicle flow across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the weighbridge system for all incoming and outgoing vehicles.
• Record truck weights, vehicle details, material type, supplier/customer information and quantities accurately.
• Issue and verify weighbridge tickets and delivery documents.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Logistics, Production and Security teams.
• Check delivery and dispatch documents against weighbridge records.
• Monitor and report any discrepancies in vehicle weight or documentation.
• Maintain daily weighing records and prepare reports.
• Ensure weighbridge equipment and system are functioning properly; report any issues.
• Follow company safety, security and operational procedures.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of all transactions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1‑3 years of experience as a Weighbridge Operator, preferably in a feed mill, manufacturing, agriculture, logistics or industrial environment.
• Basic computer skills with emphasis on data entry.
• Good numerical and record‑keeping abilities.
• Ability to work shifts and handle high‑volume truck movements.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
