Wood Polisher & Painter

About the role

Marriott International is looking for a Wood Polisher & Painter to maintain and refresh interior surfaces at its Riyadh property. The successful candidate will apply finishes, prepare surfaces, and ensure a high‑quality appearance for walls, ceilings, furniture and other wood elements.

Key responsibilities

• Apply paint, stain, primers, sealers and other finishes using brushes, rollers or spray equipment.
• Prepare new surfaces by sanding, wire‑brushing, stripping or abrasive blasting.
• Remove old finishes through stripping, sanding, burning or water‑based methods.
• Cover and protect surrounding areas during painting and post appropriate signage.
• Clean, store and maintain painting tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors to adjust colors or finishes as required.
• Follow all company safety, security and environmental policies.
• Report maintenance problems, hazards or incidents promptly.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school education.
• At least 12 months of related work experience.
• Ability to work at heights, bend, twist, lift up to 50 lb and stand for extended periods.
• Professional appearance and adherence to confidentiality standards.
• No supervisory experience required.
