3PL Operations Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Supervisor to be based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, representing a leading international food business and working closely with its appointed 3PL logistics service provider.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary day‑to‑day operational contact with the appointed 3PL logistics service provider in Saudi Arabia.
• Supervise and coordinate warehouse, customs clearance, transportation, delivery and logistics activities carried out by the 3PL.
• Coordinate inbound food shipments from arrival through customs clearance, receipt and put‑away, ensuring complete and accurate documentation.
• Maintain strong inventory control, reconcile physical/3PL inventory against company records and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor batch/lot details, production and expiry dates, stock condition and FEFO/FIFO requirements, reporting slow‑moving or at‑risk inventory.
• Coordinate sales order execution with internal teams and the 3PL to ensure stock availability and aligned dispatch requirements.
• Oversee outbound transportation, final‑customer deliveries, scheduling, loading, proof of delivery and resolution of delivery exceptions.
• Manage re‑export activities, including warehouse release, transportation, customs and shipping documentation.
• Review logistics charges against agreed rates and support accurate allocation of logistics costs for landed‑cost and profitability reporting.
• Maintain daily and weekly operational trackers covering inbound shipments, customs clearance, inventory, deliveries, pending documentation, claims and operational issues.

Required profile

• Experienced logistics operations supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi customs regulations and food import requirements.
• Proven ability to coordinate with finance, operations, sales and compliance teams.
• Demonstrated capability to manage inventory control and resolve discrepancies.
