A/C Supervisor – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

Rotana Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dynamic A/C Supervisor to join its maintenance team. You will ensure the smooth operation of all air‑conditioning and refrigeration equipment across the hotel, delivering high‑quality service to guests while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor indoor, outdoor, chiller, fan‑coil, air‑handling unit and air‑supply temperatures.
• Prepare and follow a preventive‑maintenance schedule for all cooling equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of condensing units, chillers, fan‑coil units and air handlers.
• Ensure proper performance of chilled‑water pumps and the correct operation of coolers and freezers.
• Allocate tasks to subordinates based on capability and verify work meets defined standards.
• Secure tools and equipment, keeping them in safe, working condition.
• Record maintenance activities and maintain charts for future reference.
• Provide on‑the‑job training and promote skill development among engineering staff.
• Know emergency procedures and respond appropriately in case of fire.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in refrigeration or building services engineering.
• Previous experience in a similar supervisory role is advantageous.
• Strong command of English and ability to diagnose and rectify subsystem faults.
• Self‑motivated, hands‑on, adaptable and able to stay calm under pressure.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, reliable work ethic.
