A/C Technician

About the role

The A/C Technician ensures that all heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems across the hotel operate efficiently and reliably. This role supports guest comfort, safety, energy efficiency and the overall luxury experience of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation and chilled‑water systems according to schedule.
• Inspect, clean, lubricate and adjust mechanical equipment; replace filters, belts, bearings, motors, thermostats, valves and other components.
• Diagnose and repair faults in air‑conditioning units, fan coil units, air‑handling units, package units, split systems, pumps and associated controls.
• Respond promptly to guest room and operational maintenance requests, minimizing downtime.
• Monitor plant‑room equipment such as chillers, cooling towers, pumps and heat exchangers; assist with shutdowns, startups and seasonal maintenance.
• Support energy‑conservation initiatives and recommend upgrades to improve system reliability and sustainability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in installing, maintaining and troubleshooting HVAC, refrigeration and ventilation systems.
• Ability to work in a hospitality environment and respond quickly to guest‑related issues.
• Strong attention to detail for preventive‑maintenance records and equipment history.
• Willingness to support plant‑room operations and energy‑management projects.
