A/C Technician

About the role

The A/C Technician ensures that all heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems across the hotel operate efficiently and reliably. You will support guest rooms, public areas, back‑of‑house facilities and critical plant equipment, delivering comfort, safety and energy‑saving performance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation and chilled‑water systems according to schedule.
• Inspect, clean, lubricate and adjust mechanical equipment; replace filters, belts, bearings, motors, thermostats, valves and other components.
• Diagnose and repair faults in air‑conditioning units, fan coil units, air‑handling units, package units, split systems, pumps and associated controls.
• Respond promptly to guest room and operational maintenance requests, minimizing downtime.
• Monitor plant room equipment such as chillers, cooling towers, pumps and heat exchangers; record operating parameters and report abnormalities.
• Assist with plant shutdowns, startups, seasonal maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Support energy‑conservation initiatives by monitoring performance and recommending upgrades.

Required profile

• Experience in installation, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC, refrigeration and ventilation systems.
• Ability to work in a hotel environment, responding quickly to guest and operational needs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and energy efficiency.
