Academy Director – Women’s Programme

About the role

Al-Qadsiah Club is seeking an Academy Director for its Women’s Programme to lead the strategic, operational and cultural development of the club’s female academy. The role will shape a clear player pathway from U11 to senior level, embed a unified football methodology and build a high‑performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the long‑term vision of the women’s academy in line with the club’s football philosophy.
• Oversee all academy operations for U11–U17 age groups, ensuring excellence in coaching, performance and player care.
• Manage staffing structures, recruitment, and performance reviews for academy personnel.
• Collaborate with senior team staff to align playing philosophy and player progression pathways.
• Design and deliver a comprehensive coach development programme, including observation, feedback and CPD.
• Establish and monitor Individual Development Plans for all players across technical, tactical, physical and psychological domains.
• Lead talent identification and recruitment strategies within the region.
• Develop and maintain a club‑wide playing philosophy and training methodology, ensuring consistency and integration with long‑term athlete development principles.
• Work closely with medical, performance and analysis teams to deliver holistic player development.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading football academy operations, preferably across U11–U17 age groups.
• Demonstrated ability to create and implement long‑term development pathways for female players.
• Strong leadership and strategic planning skills aligned with a club’s football philosophy.
• Experience in coach development, talent identification and multidisciplinary integration.
