Accountant – Finance & Accounting (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Accountant to manage the full spectrum of accounting activities for a machinery trading business operating in Saudi Arabia. The role involves handling daily transactions, invoicing, VAT documentation, and providing financial support to ensure smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions accurately.
• Prepare customer invoices and maintain supporting documentation.
• Record supplier invoices, purchase transactions, and payment obligations.
• Prepare receivables aging reports and notify Regional Managers of overdue accounts.
• Check customer balances before order processing when required.
• Recommend customer account holds based on overdue balances, with final approval by the General Manager.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Relevant accounting experience, preferably in trading, distribution, or industrial equipment.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with accounting software.
• Knowledge of VAT processes.
• Reconciliation and financial reporting capabilities.
