Accountant – Finance Operations & Compliance

About the role

The Accountant will manage the day‑to‑day finance function of TDG, ensuring accurate supplier payments, payroll processing, bookkeeping, month‑end close and statutory compliance. Working within TDG’s formal governance framework, the role supports audit readiness and helps build robust finance routines as the business expands.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, verify against purchase orders and contracts, and resolve discrepancies.
• Execute payment runs via company banking platforms, adhering to delegation of authority.
• Maintain supplier ledger, onboard vendors, verify bank details and keep VAT certificates.
• Manage petty cash, employee expense claims and corporate card reconciliations.
• Prepare cash‑flow forecasts and maintain payment schedules.
• Run monthly payroll, including salaries, allowances, overtime, deductions and final settlements.
• Administer GOSI contributions and ensure compliance with the Wage Protection System.
• Calculate end‑of‑service benefit accruals in line with Saudi Labour Law.
• Maintain confidential payroll records and coordinate with HR on personnel changes.
• Post journals to the general ledger, perform bank, supplier, intercompany and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Manage fixed‑asset registers, depreciation schedules, pre‑payments and accruals.
• Deliver month‑end close on schedule and prepare supporting schedules for management accounts.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns, support ZATCA e‑invoicing compliance and assist with Zakat, corporate income tax and withholding tax filings.
• Prepare audit schedules and act as a liaison for external auditors.

Required profile

• Knowledge of Saudi Labour Law and GOSI regulations.
• Familiarity with ZATCA VAT and e‑invoicing standards.
• Experience handling payroll, supplier payments and month‑end close in a regulated environment.
