Accountant

About the role

United Members Company (UMC) is seeking a diligent Accountant to join its finance team. The role focuses on managing day‑to‑day accounting activities, supporting month‑end close, and ensuring compliance with Saudi tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare bank reconciliations and monthly account reconciliations.
• Monitor petty cash, employee advances, and record expenses and purchase transactions.
• Issue sales invoices and maintain fixed‑asset records.
• Participate in month‑end closing activities and support audit preparation.
• Prepare audit working papers and assist external/internal auditors.
• Follow up on tax and ZATCA compliance requirements.
• Perform daily accounting tasks and support the Chief Accountant with operational duties.
• Carry out any additional duties assigned by the Chief Accountant or Finance Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the Construction, Operations & Maintenance sector.
• Saudi national.
• Excellent command of English.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Odoo ERP.
• Good knowledge of Saudi tax regulations and ZATCA compliance.
