Accountant

About the role

Nova® Water, Saudi Arabia’s leading premium bottled water brand, is seeking an Accountant to manage receivables, cash clearing and periodic financial reconciliations. The role supports branch managers and supervisors in maintaining accurate customer account records and ensuring timely collections.

Key responsibilities

• Record all deposits and transfers in customer accounts.
• Monitor daily aging receivable balances and flag customers approaching credit limits.
• Coordinate collection efforts with supervisors and branch managers for blocked customers.
• Obtain and reconcile 100% branch balance confirmations throughout the year.
• Prepare monthly customer statements for acknowledgment and daily aging reports.
• Ensure credit invoices are stamped or signed with mobile numbers.
• Perform weekly cash clearing and weekly reconciliation of customer accounts.
• Scan invoices daily once the archiving system is active.
• Assist with month‑end, year‑end and audit closing activities.
• Record and reconcile petty‑cash expenses.
• Carry out ad‑hoc tasks as required by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Ability to interpret and analyse financial statements.
• Active membership in the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
