Accountant (Odoo ERP Specialist)

About the role

GoCab Saudi, a technology‑enabled mobility company, is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage day‑to‑day accounting activities, ensure accurate financial records and support month‑end reporting in compliance with Saudi regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts.
• Record and reconcile daily transactions using Odoo ERP.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly financial and management reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts and company balances.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure ZATCA compliance.
• Manage fixed assets, pre‑payments, accruals and journal entries.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Maintain supporting documentation and accounting controls.
• Assist procurement, purchase orders and expense management within Odoo.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Odoo ERP (required).
• Good knowledge of IFRS and Saudi accounting standards.
• Experience with VAT and ZATCA compliance.
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
