Accountant – Payables & Treasury

About the role

The Finance department is looking for a diligent Accountant to manage day‑to‑day finance and accounting operations. The role covers invoicing, cost control, payables, receivables, journal recording, treasury activities, VAT and Zakat reporting, as well as oversight of the Fasah portal. The position requires a Saudi citizen with strong SAP knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Manage treasury functions, including bank relationships and cash flow forecasting.
• Issue and record invoices, review custodies, and maintain accurate journal entries.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Prepare and submit VAT and Zakat reports in compliance with local regulations.
• Control and monitor the Fasah portal for customs and trade compliance.
• Support cost accounting activities and perform regular financial reconciliations.
• Undertake any additional tasks assigned by the direct manager.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Strong sense of urgency, time consciousness, and self‑discipline.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to handle unexpected or challenging situations.
• Ability to document and report problems clearly and logically.
• Saudi citizenship.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP (mandatory).
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, and governmental regulations.
• Strong written reporting and business correspondence skills.
• Effective presentation skills for managers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Solid mathematical and reasoning abilities.
