Accountant – VAT & ZATCA Compliance (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Accountant to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with ZATCA VAT regulations, and supporting strategic financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping activities
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Monitor company expenses, transactions, and cash flow
• Ensure VAT filing and compliance with ZATCA regulations
• Perform bank reconciliations and ledger management
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and supporting financial documents
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Coordinate with auditors and support audit processes

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field
• 4–5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT regulations and ZATCA compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
