Accounting Analyst

About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Analyst to support our finance operations within the energy sector. The role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial and operational activities to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve accounting procedures, policies, and best practices.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to support project execution and reporting.
• Monitor and enforce industry standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations related to financial operations.
• Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, finance, accounting or a related field from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools; advanced certifications in project or safety management are a plus.
