Accounting and Annual Tax Manager

About the role

The Accounting and Annual Tax Manager supports the Associate Director – Accounting & Tax in delivering accurate financial reporting, robust procurement review, and high‑quality management reporting. This office‑based position works closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with IFRS and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and IFRS compliance.
• Prepare and review management reporting packs, Board packs, Audit Committee materials and flash reports for senior leadership.
• Review and approve purchase orders, monitor budget vs. actual spend, and identify cost‑control opportunities.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis, variance analysis and support business decisions.
• Strengthen internal controls around reporting and transaction processing, and support audit activities.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation for reporting workflows.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of relevant finance experience (approximately 48 months).
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
