Accounting Manager – E‑commerce

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the accounting and financial reporting functions of our fast‑growing e‑commerce business in Jeddah. The role combines operational oversight with strategic financial analysis to support rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all accounting operations, including General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with IFRS and local regulations.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Develop, analyse and present MIS reports to senior management.
• Coordinate month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and overall financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with tax, VAT and company policies.
• Maintain and improve internal controls and risk management.
• Lead external audit, tax and regulatory engagements.
• Manage ERP financial modules and ensure data integrity.
• Supervise, mentor and develop the accounting team.
• Identify and implement process automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA or SOCPA) preferred.
• 5–8 years progressive accounting experience, including 2–3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in e‑commerce, retail or digital commerce is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, budgeting, forecasting and internal controls.
