Accounting Manager

About the role

A leading large‑scale Sports Services company is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee finance operations for its corporate head office and multiple club locations in Riyadh. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will ensure accurate reporting, robust internal controls, and audit readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day accounting functions including accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports covering cash flow, actuals vs. projections, and loan balances.
• Manage Saudi tax compliance (Zakat, WHT, VAT) in line with ZATCA guidelines and act as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors.
• Monitor budget variances, enforce SOPs/PO compliance, and optimise ERP processes (Oracle or SAP) while training the accounting team.
• Ensure accurate inter‑company and club‑level reconciliations to support scalable growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; ACCA, CMA, or CPA certifications are a strong plus.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience (7 + years preferred) with supervisory responsibilities.
• Fluency in English and strong knowledge of Saudi tax regulations.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with ERP systems – Oracle or SAP.
• Hands‑on experience with accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, fixed‑asset accounting, and bank reconciliations.
• Expertise in cash‑flow management and inter‑company reconciliations.
