Accounting Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the finance function of a leading residential construction company. The role involves overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with Saudi Arabian regulations, and supporting senior management with strategic financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and manage the accounting team.
• Prepare and review financial statements and periodic reports in line with approved standards.
• Develop and manage annual budgets, monitor financial performance, and analyse variances.
• Supervise Zakat and tax processes to ensure full compliance with local regulations.
• Perform and review bank reconciliations and various account reconciliations.
• Enhance accounting policies and procedures to improve financial efficiency.
• Prepare and analyse advanced financial reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with other departments to support decision‑making and achieve financial goals.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure readiness of financial data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 10–15 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the construction sector.
• Professional certification such as SOCPA or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with sound decision‑making ability.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance).
• Advanced Excel skills, including reporting and dashboard creation.
