Accounting Manager

About the role

Greenberg Traurig is seeking an Accounting Manager for its Riyadh Regional Headquarters. The role will independently manage local finance, accounting, bookkeeping, tax, and compliance functions while ensuring alignment with the firm’s global finance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records, including general ledger entries, journal postings, and account reconciliations.
• Oversee month‑end close processes, financial reporting, and the accounts payable/receivable functions.
• Prepare, coordinate, and submit all required tax, VAT, WHT, ZATCA, GOSI, RHQ, and Ministry of Justice filings.
• Monitor changes to financial, tax, and regulatory requirements to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Serve as the primary liaison with internal and external auditors, tax advisors, consultants, and government authorities.
• Enhance accounting procedures, record‑keeping practices, and internal controls to support audit readiness.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial performance monitoring.
• Coordinate with U.S. Finance and Accounting teams to align reporting with global standards.
