Accounting Manager – Logistics & Transportation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our operational accounting functions within a fast‑growing logistics provider in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures accurate financial records, compliance with tax regulations, and supports the company’s financial transparency.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger transactions.
• Process payments and reconcile accounts promptly, ensuring timely invoicing for customers.
• Maintain financial records in line with accounting standards and company policies.
• Monitor tax obligations and ensure full compliance with applicable laws.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end closing processes and prepare accurate financial statements.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of accountants.
• Implement process improvements and internal controls to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.
• Utilize ERP systems, particularly SAP, for data integrity, reporting and automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (professional certifications a plus).
• 8–12 years of accounting experience in logistics, transportation or 3PL environments.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance in Saudi Arabia.
• Proven leadership and communication abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.
