Agent Engineer - Voice AI Agents

About the role

A voice AI company built in Saudi Arabia and backed by Silicon Valley expertise is hiring an Agent Engineer in Riyadh. You will design, configure and improve Voice AI agents that hold real conversations with clients' customers, acting as a client-facing prompt engineer who leads each project from discovery to go-live. You will work closely with Operations, Engineering and Product teams and be the main point of contact for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and refine prompts and conversation flows that shape how agents speak, respond and handle complex requests.
• Integrate agents with client systems such as CRMs, booking and ticketing tools via APIs and webhooks.
• Build proofs of concept for new client use cases, from scoping to demo-ready delivery.
• Test agents across scenarios and edge cases before and after launch.
• Own end-to-end delivery of client projects, including scope, timelines, quality and outcomes.
• Serve as the main client contact, leading requirements gathering, progress updates and expectation management.
• Manage multiple projects at once, prioritizing and flagging risks early.
• Analyze real calls and transcripts against the quality rubric, turning insights into prompt, flow and integration improvements.
• Contribute to weekly quality reports and support interns on prompting and delivery best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates with relevant internships are welcome.
• Fluent Arabic and English, written and spoken.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence leading client conversations.
• Proven ability to manage projects or deliverables with clear ownership.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Working knowledge of APIs, webhooks and JSON.
• Experience with a scripting language such as Python or JavaScript is a plus.
