AI/ML Engineer

About the role

Envision Employment Solutions is recruiting an AI/ML Engineer for one of its partners, an IT services and IT consulting company. The engineer designs, develops, tests and supports enterprise AI and machine learning solutions across a programme running several use cases in parallel, including conversational assistants, retrieval and grounding, analytical capabilities, agent workflows and validation controls. The workplace is on site in Riyadh.

Key responsibilities

• Build AI assistants across the programme's parallel use cases
• Implement conversational querying, retrieval, grounding, evidence presentation and agent orchestration
• Integrate AI components with approved enterprise data platforms, APIs and knowledge sources
• Build controls that validate generated answers and reduce unsupported responses
• Contribute to shared AI platform components and reusable services
• Support testing, benchmarking, UAT, controlled deployment, technical documentation and knowledge transfer
• Work closely with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, architects and business subject matter experts

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience delivering generative AI, machine learning or conversational AI solutions
• Understanding of security, access control, logging, monitoring and responsible AI requirements
• Interest in building reusable platform components and working across several use cases in a collaborative team

Required skills

• Strong Python skills
• Experience with APIs, structured data, retrieval techniques and model evaluation
• Experience with Azure AI and data services, or equivalent enterprise platforms
• Nice to have: Databricks, ADLS, Azure AI services or Azure AI Foundry, natural language querying over structured data, RAG, agent orchestration, evidence binding, LLM evaluation and production deployment of enterprise AI solutions
