Airborne Radar Specialist

About the role

Parsons is seeking an Airborne Radar Specialist to support training and maintenance operations for a Royal Saudi Air Force E3 AWACS Squadron. The role involves hands‑on work with the AN/TPY‑2 radar system and collaboration with RSAF personnel at all levels.

Key responsibilities

• Support RSAF technicians with maintenance, troubleshooting, and training on the E3 AWACS radar platform.
• Determine scope of work, create schedules, and monitor technical progress.
• Interface with technical personnel to facilitate radar system troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Review work products for compliance with codes, standards, and quality requirements.
• Monitor productivity and technical proficiency of assigned personnel, making reassignments as needed.
• Ensure client criteria and contract scope are met across engineering disciplines.
• Prepare technical reports, project manuals, and documentation for the client and program management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s engineering degree or equivalent 15+ years of experience.
• 10+ years of field engineering experience supporting E3 AWACS radar systems.
• Strong working knowledge of computer systems and high attention to detail.
• Thorough knowledge of current radar technology and ability to apply appropriate engineering solutions.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills for dynamic operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
