Airport Supervisor – Jeddah

About the role

The Airport Supervisor supports the Airport Manager in ensuring safe, secure and efficient daily operations at the Jeddah airport. The role focuses on maintaining on‑time performance, overseeing ground handling activities and coordinating with civil aviation authorities, GHAs and GSAs.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Airport Manager in monitoring operational and security functions and ensure compliance with Air Arabia policies.
• Supervise briefings, ramp, check‑in, safety and security procedures, reporting any deviations or delays.
• Liaise with Flight Operations, MCC and other stakeholders to manage AOG situations, emergencies and service recovery.
• Prepare and submit incident/accident reports to the Airport Manager and Head Office using approved formats.
• Report dangerous‑goods incidents to local authorities and corporate headquarters immediately.
• Issue instruction plans to handling agents, support passenger service and guide staff during complex situations.
• Monitor GHAs/GSAs performance, service level agreements, payments and recommend improvements.
• Analyse delay and performance data to identify trends, gaps and corrective actions.
• Oversee baggage handling, trace lost luggage and resolve customer complaints.
• Support QA, Safety and Security audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
• Track revenue from excess baggage, wheelchair, seat sales and other airport services.

Required profile

• Proven experience in airport or ground handling operations.
• Strong knowledge of aviation safety, security and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with civil aviation authorities, GHAs and GSAs.
• Excellent analytical skills for performance reporting and incident investigation.
• Effective communication and leadership skills to supervise briefings and guide staff.
