Apigee Integration Developer

About the role

The Apigee Integration Developer will design, develop, and maintain API‑centric solutions on Google Cloud. You will work closely with consumers to translate business needs into robust, secure, and scalable integration services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and maintain applications and API proxies based on consumer specifications.
• Manage and customize business platforms, implement APIs, and create API product bundles.
• Harness analytics to generate actionable insights and define API strategies.
• Document development processes, troubleshoot issues, and perform testing of cloud hosting solutions.
• Enhance or maintain existing APIs and provide documentation and support for API consumers.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Google Apigee (API Management) and Apigee Middleware.
• Hands‑on experience with GCP services such as Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, and other GCP products.
• Ability to perform reverse‑engineering of existing code and apply changes.
• Familiarity with source‑code repositories (GitHub, Git, GitLab).
• Knowledge of API security mechanisms (OAuth2, OAuth, Basic Authentication, JWT) and API contract standards (WSDL, Swagger, OpenAPI).
• Understanding of REST, SOAP, wrapper services, SFTP, and message‑queue based services.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion or Oracle Integration Cloud is a plus.
