Application Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Application Support Engineer to provide L1/L2 support for enterprise applications. The successful candidate will ensure system stability, performance and availability while working closely with development, infrastructure and database teams.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve incidents and service requests for enterprise applications (L1/L2 support).
• Investigate and troubleshoot application, database and API issues using SQL queries and monitoring tools.
• Monitor application health, analyze performance metrics and ensure high availability.
• Manage incidents and service requests in accordance with defined SLAs.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure and database teams to resolve complex technical problems.
• Support application deployments, releases and production changes.
• Analyze logs and system metrics to identify root causes and recommend preventive actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Application Support or a similar technical support role.
• Experience providing L1/L2 support for enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across technical teams.

Required skills

• SQL for database troubleshooting.
• API troubleshooting and integration diagnostics.
• Application monitoring and logging tools.
• Knowledge of application deployment and release processes.
• Familiarity with ITIL‑based support practices.
