Application Support Engineer (Saudi National) - Riyadh

About the role

DeepSource Technologies is looking for an experienced Application Operations Engineer based in Riyadh, KSA. The role supports the stability, availability, performance and continuous improvement of enterprise applications, covering incident, problem, change, release, backup/recovery, disaster recovery and service improvement activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage L2/L3 functional incidents, including incident bridges and escalation management
• Perform incident and problem management, including trend analysis and permanent fixes
• Develop and manage Service Improvement Plans
• Support release schedules and plan and coordinate Change Requests with risk and impact assessments
• Implement application-layer changes and run post-implementation reviews
• Handle application configuration requests and monitor performance and availability
• Correlate events, investigate application issues and manage application capacity and performance
• Develop and test recovery procedures, configure backups and run DR tests
• Harden OS, database and middleware, apply patches and maintain CMDB records

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
• Relevant experience in Application Operations / Application Support in an enterprise environment
• Strong hands-on L2/L3 incident and problem management experience
• Ability to work with multiple technical teams during major incidents and incident bridges
