Architect Inspector – Riyadh

About the role

AECOM is seeking a detail‑oriented Architect Inspector to join its Riyadh team. You will lead comprehensive inspections of architectural projects, ensuring strict compliance with Saudi building codes, design specifications, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of architectural elements, structural components, and construction work at all project stages.
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, local building codes, and Saudi Arabian construction regulations.
• Document findings with detailed reports, photographs, and technical notes.
• Analyze construction quality, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Communicate inspection results to project managers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to resolve identified issues.
• Maintain organized records of inspection activities and schedules.
• Perform site assessments of material quality, workmanship, and installation procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in architectural inspection, quality assurance, or construction site oversight.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, architectural standards, and construction methodologies.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital inspection tools and documentation software.
• Experience using CAD software.
