Area Sales Manager – Saudi Arabia (Jeddah)

About the role

BanoPuratos is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead its Saudi Arabian operations from Jeddah. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, profitability and operational excellence across the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the area, aligned with global direction.
• Set annual sales targets, cascade them to teams and monitor performance.
• Lead sales activities across Artisan, Industrial, Retail, Horeca and key accounts.
• Manage and grow large/key accounts, negotiate agreements and increase product penetration.
• Identify new customers and business opportunities to expand market reach.
• Monitor competitive activity, pricing trends and market dynamics, proposing proactive actions.
• Prepare data‑driven sales and performance reports for senior management.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations including logistics, distribution, customer service and technical support.
• Ensure accurate sales forecasting to support production planning and order management.
• Monitor stock levels, aging and order flow to avoid shortages or overstocks.
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce cost‑to‑serve.
• Resolve customer issues quickly to maintain high satisfaction and on‑time deliveries.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in sales management, preferably in food ingredients or related FMCG sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving revenue and profit targets.
• Ability to build and develop high‑performing teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
