Art Teacher

About the role

The Art Teacher will inspire and motivate students, fostering a love for lifelong learning and artistic expression. This role involves delivering engaging art lessons, guiding students to understand the impact of creativity, and supporting their personal development through the arts.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate teaching strategies, methodologies, and programs to align with curriculum standards.
• Participate in the design and development of course materials, scope and sequence, and assessment methods.
• Engage in peer review and classroom observations with supervisors and heads of learning.
• Attend in‑service training, professional development courses, and CPD opportunities.
• Support the professional growth of new teachers as directed by school authority.
• Provide necessary documentation, data, and plans to designated school personnel.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in art or related subjects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Art, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently, as part of a team, or collaboratively.
