Assembly & Test Technician

About the role

We are seeking an Assembly & Test Technician to join our oilfield equipment manufacturing team. The role involves assembling, disassembling and testing proprietary National Oilwell Varco equipment, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble oilfield equipment according to design drawings.
• Perform hydrostatic and gas pressure testing on choke assemblies and functional testing on actuators.
• Record traceability documents, test charts and instrument readings.
• Torque nuts, bolts and cap screws using calibrated torque instruments.
• Identify root causes of assembly or testing failures and report material discrepancies.
• Operate lifting devices and hand tools to move parts and perform basic preventative maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and adhere to safety, ISO quality and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma in a relevant technical field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in mechanical assembly and pressure testing.
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings.
• Strong mechanical problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts.
