About the role
Ghobash Group is looking for a Saudi National to join its team as Assistant Accountant in Riyadh. The role covers core financial functions such as budgeting, forecasting, ledger management, reconciliations and compliance, ensuring accurate reporting and supporting decisions through financial insight. It requires precision, integrity and the ability to work under pressure within deadlines.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial records, invoices and ledgers.
- Coordinate daily accounting operations to support the warehouse department.
- Manage general ledger entries and ensure journal accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts, vendor statements and customer accounts.
- Support payroll processing and inter-department cost allocations.
Required profile
- Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Accounting software.
