Assistant Front Office Manager

About the role

The Assistant Front Office Manager supports the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily front‑office operations at a hotel in Makkah. This role ensures smooth check‑in and check‑out processes, supervises front‑office staff, and drives guest and employee satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coach Bell/Door staff, switchboard operators, and front‑desk team members.
• Manage day‑to‑day front‑office activities, ensuring high service standards and efficient guest handling.
• Address guest complaints, resolve disputes, and implement corrective actions based on feedback.
• Monitor performance against front‑office goals and collaborate with the Front Office Manager on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Recognize and reward employee performance across all shifts.
• Maintain open, collaborative relationships with staff and promote a culture of trust and respect.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, or a related area, **or** a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated integrity, honesty, and the ability to lead by example.
