Assistant Key Account Manager (KSA)

About the role

As an Assistant Key Account Manager for Unilever in Saudi Arabia, you will support the sales and negotiation process for assigned customers at the store level. Working closely with the Key Account Management team, you will help deliver the Customer Business Plan, close gaps, and identify growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the Customer Business Plan and develop corrective actions for performance shortfalls.
• Sell and negotiate within parameters set by the NKAM/KAM, managing pricing, order placement, delivery and related administration.
• Optimize claims management, ensuring end‑to‑end TTS processes from forecasting to accrual and timely customer payments.
• Monitor Perfect Store execution through data analysis and drive continuous improvement.
• Plan and execute promotional and non‑promotional activities, managing trade spend, terms, and budgets.
• Review promo plans, pre‑evaluate TTS spend, and adjust activities to maximize ROI.
• Manage total trade spend, terms and conditions, and budget transfers in line with business objectives.
• Determine promotional tactics, frequency and attributes using Trade Promotion Optimization tools.
• Confirm promotional details with customers, handle opportunistic activities, and manage rebates, live rates and payment approvals.

Required profile

• Proven negotiation track record at a customer‑facing management level.
• Experience working across multiple business teams and balancing several priorities.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data and performance metrics.
• Ability to work in a fast‑moving consumer goods environment and build effective customer relationships.
