Assistant Laundry Manager (Saudi National)

About the role

The Assistant Laundry Manager supports the Laundry Manager in overseeing the hotel's laundry and valet operations. This role ensures high‑quality service for guests and internal departments while maintaining uniform standards and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Work closely with Rooms and Food & Beverage divisions to execute uniform programs.
• Present new initiatives to Senior Management.
• Create and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Laundry and Valet.
• Support the Laundry Department during the manager’s absence.
• Conduct departmental uniform inventories semi‑annually.
• Order uniforms through purchasing while maintaining appropriate par levels.
• Maintain uniform budgets.
• Ensure daily completion of payroll.
• Handle guest feedback regarding the laundry program.
• Organize measuring and sizing of colleagues for uniforms.
• Research, analyze, present and implement new departmental uniforms.
• Conduct coaching sessions and performance reviews of the Laundry & Valet team.
• Prepare weekly Wildly Important Goals (WIGs) aligned with hotel objectives.
• Assist the Laundry Manager with quarterly linen inventories.
• Conduct monthly communication meetings.
• Promote Laundry and Valet accomplishments.
• Track uniforms for new hires and implement an effective return policy.
• Maintain a safe and hazard‑free work environment.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory experience (asset).
• Ability to multitask regularly.
• Highly organized and detail‑oriented.
• Strong leadership skills and initiative.
• Proven computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts.
• Formal education in Hospitality/Tourism (asset).
• Articulate with strong verbal and written communication skills.
