Assistant Manager Business Development

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager Business Development to support the Country Head in turning strategic priorities into actionable projects. The role will focus on identifying new growth opportunities, building partnerships, and driving execution across multiple functions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Country Head to translate strategy into project plans.
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and market entry options.
• Prepare business cases, proposals, and market‑entry documentation.
• Lead projects from concept through implementation, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
• Coordinate with marketing, operations, technology, and finance teams for seamless execution.
• Monitor project progress, flag risks, and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Support negotiations and relationship building with external partners and vendors.
• Represent the Country Head in meetings when required and drive follow‑ups.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and performance tracking.
• Develop reports and dashboards to enable data‑driven decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Management or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in business development, strategy or project management, preferably within e‑commerce.
• Strong analytical mindset with a data‑driven decision‑making approach.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a high‑growth environment.
