Assistant Manager - Logistics Operations

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Logistics Operations supports Lucid’s Logistics team in overseeing end‑to‑end in‑plant logistics, ensuring parts flow smoothly to production lines and that storage and movement of goods are cost‑effective and safe.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily logistics operations across transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
• Develop and execute logistics strategies to improve service levels and reduce costs.
• Plan inbound, outbound and reverse logistics to guarantee timely material flow.
• Manage 3PL contracts, performance metrics and negotiations.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, planning and customer service teams.
• Monitor KPIs such as on‑time delivery, transportation cost per unit, inventory accuracy and warehouse productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and environmental standards.
• Drive continuous‑improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma and other methodologies.
• Implement digital tools and analytics to increase logistics visibility and decision‑making.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing logistics team.

Required profile

• Strategic mindset with experience in digital transformation.
• Strong team‑building and communication abilities.
• Proven track record in managing logistics operations and 3PL relationships.
• Experience supporting new product launches and supply‑chain transformation projects.
