Assistant Operations Manager – Hotel

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to support the daily running of our hotel. The role involves coordinating departments, monitoring performance, handling guest feedback, and ensuring compliance with hotel policies and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations and ensuring smooth workflow.
• Monitor performance of operational departments and ensure compliance with service quality standards.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve complaints to enhance the guest experience.
• Ensure adherence to hotel policies, operational procedures, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate between departments to maintain efficient operations and achieve business objectives.
• Prepare and analyze operational reports, monitor KPIs, and recommend process improvements.
• Support revenue growth initiatives while maintaining cost control and operational efficiency.
• Lead, motivate, and support operational teams to achieve high performance.
• Act on behalf of the Operations Manager when required and perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience in hotel operations or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations and departmental coordination.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full‑time availability and flexibility to work shifts as needed.
• Good command of English (spoken and written) is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) preferred.
