Assistant Operations Manager

About the role

The Assistant Operations Manager will support the Operations Manager in ensuring the smooth daily functioning of our hotel in Medina. This role combines operational oversight with guest‑focused service, helping to maintain high standards across all departments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations and workflow.
• Monitor departmental performance and ensure compliance with service quality standards.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve complaints to enhance the guest experience.
• Ensure adherence to hotel policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
• Coordinate between departments to maintain efficient operations and achieve business objectives.
• Prepare and analyse operational reports, track KPIs, and recommend process improvements.
• Support revenue‑growth initiatives while maintaining cost control and operational efficiency.
• Lead, motivate, and support operational teams to achieve high performance.
• Act on behalf of the Operations Manager when required and perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience in hotel operations or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations and departmental coordination.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full‑time availability with flexibility to work shifts as operational needs dictate.
• Good command of spoken and written English is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) – preferred.
