Assistant Store Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in delivering an excellent customer experience and driving sales performance. The role involves overseeing daily store operations, managing staff, and stepping in as the acting manager when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a strong customer focus, ensuring service standards are met and sales targets are achieved.
• Audit and improve store administration processes, implement procedural changes, and monitor key performance indicators.
• Oversee inventory control, conduct regular stock checks, and ensure visual merchandising aligns with brand guidelines.
• Manage staff scheduling, address employee concerns, provide performance feedback, and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Enforce security procedures to protect stock and cash, and handle corrective actions or progressive discipline when required.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to set sales goals, analyze performance data, and implement strategies to maximize revenue.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail store operations or a similar supervisory role.
• Ability to lead a team, manage schedules, and resolve employee issues.
• Strong orientation toward customer service and sales performance.
