Associate Manager, Distributor Inventory Management

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Manager to lead distributor inventory management for a leading FMCG company in Saudi Arabia. Based in Jeddah, you will be the primary contact for VMI/CMI customers, overseeing the full replenishment cycle and ensuring high service levels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer replenishment activities using VMI/CMI systems and agreed processes.
• Analyze sales trends, inventory levels and out‑of‑stock risks to generate optimal replenishment orders.
• Maintain system inputs such as lead times, network changes, delivery expectations and new product introductions.
• Coordinate with Demand & Supply Planning, Sales, Logistics, Transportation and Supply Chain Analytics teams.
• Support cost optimisation for distribution and transportation.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers on stock‑replenishment issues.
• Assist with stock allocation and customer prioritisation based on demand and supply reviews.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement and supply‑chain optimisation projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• 2–4 years of experience in order fulfillment, replenishment, inventory management or a related supply‑chain function.
• Experience working collaboratively with customers.
• Good understanding of end‑to‑end supply‑chain and customer‑service processes.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficient in English.
