Associate or Full Professor – Architecture

About the role

Effat University’s College of Architecture and Design is seeking qualified candidates for full‑time faculty positions at the rank of Associate Professor or Full Professor in Architecture. The successful appointee will join a dynamic academic community, teaching both graduate and undergraduate programmes and contributing to the college’s research agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in architecture using innovative, practice‑oriented teaching methods.
• Develop and lead research projects, supervise student theses and design projects, and publish findings in reputable journals.
• Collaborate with department and college members to enhance curriculum and research activities.
• Engage with industry partners to secure research funding and create professional opportunities for students.

Required profile

• PhD, MSc and BSc in Architecture from an accredited university.
• Minimum five years of teaching experience at both graduate and undergraduate levels.
• Strong record of scholarly publications and ability to attract research funds.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English.
