B2 Technical Instructor – Helicopter Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a B2 Technical Instructor to lead training for H145 helicopter maintenance technicians at Airbus Helicopters Arabia. The role involves delivering on‑the‑job training, developing curriculum and ensuring technicians meet safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and evaluate OJT curriculum for new and experienced H145 maintenance technicians.
• Create teaching aids such as charts, handouts, slides and other instructional materials.
• Supervise trainees during practical assessments and maintain accurate training records in compliance with PSS/GSAC policies.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to keep training content up‑to‑date.
• Participate in technical writing tasks and contribute to documentation as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in avionics or equivalent aviation training (2 years).
• At least 5 years of proven H145 maintenance experience (military or civilian).
• Minimum 3 years experience as a technical instructor.
• Valid EASA Part 66 or FAA licence preferred; H145 type rating from an approved OEM organization.
• Instructor qualification certificate from a recognized body.
• English proficiency at IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
