Back-End Developer – API & Cloud Architecture

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Back-End Developer to design, build and maintain robust server‑side logic and APIs that power AI‑driven chat interactions, document retrieval and intelligent processing workflows. The role involves ensuring security, scalability and reliability across multi‑cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain RESTful APIs for chat, document access and AI processing.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms such as SSO, OAuth2 and RBAC.
• Integrate and optimise performance of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Ensure systems are scalable, reliable and support deployments on AWS, GCP and Azure.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers, DevOps and product teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable and well‑documented code following industry best practices.
• Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues to maintain high uptime.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 6–16 years of professional back‑end development experience.
• Strong knowledge of secure authentication protocols and role‑based access control.
• Experience with multi‑cloud architectures and containerised deployments.

Required skills

• Python, Node.js, Java or Go.
• RESTful API development.
• SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• SSO, OAuth2, RBAC.
• Docker and Kubernetes (preferred).
• Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure.
