Bank Accountant

About the role

The Bank Accountant will support Treasury Operations by executing payments, reconciling bank balances and managing statutory banking requirements. You will act as a liaison between internal teams and external banks to ensure accurate financial reporting and cash management.

Key responsibilities

• Define payment execution processes and develop vendor payment plans in coordination with the Treasury Operations Manager.
• Execute supplier payments via internet banking or manual forms and circulate payment receipts.
• Handle letters of guarantee (LGs) and letters of credit (LCs) applications with banks and stakeholders.
• Monitor loan installments, interest charges and update loan reports monthly.
• Request and download bank statements, perform bank reconciliations and adjust records as needed.
• Create monthly closing journal entries for bank expenses, FX differences, interest expense and loan installments.
• Manage cheque‑book requests, registers and communicate any cheque rejections to relevant teams.
• Coordinate opening/closing of bank accounts and provide required documentation to auditors and tax advisors.
• Generate bank reconciliation, loan utilization and daily bank position reports for review.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2‑3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a banking or treasury environment.
• Valid membership with the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle Fusion, SAP, MS Dynamics).
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Good understanding of GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
