Barista – Riyadh

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Barista to join our luxury hotel in Riyadh. The successful candidate will prepare high‑quality coffee beverages and provide friendly, efficient service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve espresso‑based drinks and other coffee beverages according to standard recipes.
• Operate, calibrate, and clean commercial espresso machines, grinders, and coffee brewing equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of coffee beans, roasts, and brewing techniques to advise guests.
• Handle all payment methods, perform cash counts, and complete cashier reports at shift end.
• Keep the bar area, tables, and equipment clean and well‑stocked, including glassware, garnishes, ice, and paper supplies.
• Process opening and closing duties, secure storage areas, and follow safety and security policies.
• Provide courteous guest service, anticipate needs, and uphold uniform and appearance standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant barista or food‑and‑beverage experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification needed.

Required skills

• Operation of commercial espresso machines and coffee grinders.
• Knowledge of coffee bean varieties, roast levels, and brewing techniques.
• Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and cash handling.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and stock levels in a fast‑paced environment.
