BESS Solution Engineer / Solution Manager

About the role

GOTION HIGH-TECH is seeking a BESS Solution Engineer / Solution Manager to design and deliver competitive technical solutions for utility‑scale and commercial energy‑storage projects across multiple international markets. The role blends technical expertise with customer‑facing responsibilities, ensuring that each solution meets grid requirements, project goals, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop customized BESS solutions based on customer needs, site conditions, and grid codes.
• Define system architecture and support the selection and integration of batteries, PCS, BMS, and EMS.
• Lead technical discussions, provide support during proposal and commercial negotiations, and evaluate project feasibility.
• Review customer specifications, identify technical risks, and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, R&D, and Delivery teams to create commercially competitive proposals.
• Monitor international energy‑storage market trends, grid requirements, and technology developments to inform product strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the energy‑storage industry, including at least 2 years on international utility‑scale BESS projects.
• Fluent English; additional regional languages are a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross‑functional coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel or be based in the region.
